Okay! Just made the Book Fair list visible on the front page for both registered users and guests. I'll concentrate on updating that collection of info rather than the first post in this discussion.

By the way, for those who don't know, Printed Matter's website also has a great collection of links for book fairs and 'zine fests. It's organized by region and some of the fairs aren't organized every year. For this site we can try to concentrate on this monthly organization that is current for the year so that people trying to schedule travel, participation, or their own fairs can more easily see everything on one page.

Thanks for putting this list together! ZINEmercado is planning to co-present again a 2nd edition of Foto Mercado, an all photo zine and print fest at the Ace Hotel in Chicago. We're aiming for the 3rd weekend of March, 2019. I'll update when we confirm the dates. I'm also organizing a ZINEmercado for Saturday, April 6, 2019 in Oakland, CA. Location TBA. The Chicago iteration of ZINEmercado will most likely be a Sunday in July, 2019 at Comfort Station, Chicago.

Thanks ispress and timd! This has to be the year Temporary Services / Half Letter Press invades Boston. It has been far too long. I think the last time I was there was something like 2005? The Boston Art Book Fair was a conflict with Detroit last year, but maybe this year that won't be the case?

I updated the list on the main page with this new info, added the application dates, and also added the application date for Chicago Zine Fest. That one is pretty crucial for anyone that is interested. Some years tables sell out in about an hour!

Hi Marc – Santa Fe Zine Fest announced and their CFE is up!

AND – here's exactly why this comprehensive listing is necessary... Here in Denver you can drive in 8 hours or less to only 4 other cities that hold fests: Omaha, Salt Lake, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque. For two years in a row now Salt Lake and Santa Fe have held theirs on the same day – same day as DiNK the biggest event in Denver!!! Obviously no geographic cross referencing!
