I picked up a copy of this zine from the Chicago Art Book Fair last year. I have kept it on my desk and return to it frequently. My daughters have looked at it many times. There is a direct, celebratory joy that emanates from this publication that makes it so compelling. It celebrates black sci-fi characters in comic books, TV shows, and movies. It begins with quotes by N.K. Jemisin who is one of the best sci-fi writers I have ever read—so you know the author knows their sci-fi! This has so much goodness packed in to it. I hope that the author makes reprints and keeps this in circulation.
